Mrs Nasty is back

and within 10 minutes of being in the office found something to argue with me about - GOD I HATE THIS WOMAN - all I can hope and pray is that she is thinking about retirement. She is VILE and NASTY and DIFFICULT and I REALLY REALLY HATE HER.

well believe it or believe it not, this started out as the bottom of the Birds Custard Tin ! - I cut it into a square and then embossed it in th cuttlebug - that was scrummy enough - but I then decided to alcohol ink it and added the purple gem - THEN I got the Glossy Accents out and made the flower 3 D - it's come out really love. I now need to use it on a LO.......................maybe this week's SLYMI might accomodate it.

Just dreading tomorrow !

Mrs Nasty is back - having had 5 weeks without having to see her, I am absolutely dreading it - it's bad enough when she is in when I'm not and having to go to work to find that she has purposefully hidden things - etc......................yup dreading it, but hey ho, I finish at 1 pm tomorrow and I have Thursday off too.

Blimey, I am absolutely wacked !

I decided having taken the dog for an hours walk that I would do the back garden. Key's been working all hours again and the grass was 9 inches long in places - it was a disgrace. WELL it took me 2.5 hours and although it looks much better - it needs a couple of decent cuts to make it look nice again and all the edges need doing etc, but I am absoutely wacked to say the least.

No scrappin done - I really wanted to do something tonight, but watched Yellowstone Park - how brilliant was that !

AND now - at 9.15 pm I feel ready for bed, havne't done any ironing, but I think I shall have to do it in the morning and get to sleep early.

I am off on Tuesday afternoon - but have two treatments booked - one for 1.30 and one in the evening - A treatment tomorrow night at 5 pm too - everyone seems to be getting me running all over the place again, I was determined to only do 7.30 pm's after starting at the hospital and now I'm doing all different hours again.

I will have to be tougher.

SHIT - Mrs Nasty is back on Tuesday - I wish she'd make my day and tell me she was retiring.

I gone a bit barmey spending again !

Since the NEC 2 - 3 weeks ago, I've been spending far too much on the auction site - two, three little packages a week again - it doesn't seem a lot when you spend say £2.50 on an item, you then have £1 odd in postage and more - 2 - 3 times a week - £10 - £12 a week - which is £50 a month.

I have just had a £15 spend on ArtyMiss too for some embossing metal, which I love. OK, I work, I work hard, should be able to treat myself, but I reckon that I've spent well in excess of £100 this month on craft stuff again. IT has to stop............................I know I am good when I think about it, so I just have to stop and think.

STILL have bids in on about 10 items on Ebay - so will let them run their course and that will be that then.

Gotta go do some cooking, the house looks like a tip, Keirs asked for an indian head massage - Korin needs a lift to town, she has a mate staying overnight, I have to go get food shopping tomorrow and do housework and washing - ITS ALL GO !

Just remembered tho, I am off Tuesday afternoon and Thursday during the day this week - yippee.

I've had a good week cos Mrs N has been on holiday ! BUT it has been rather hectic. Much too much work for one person but not enough for 2 of us for 4 days a week - hate it when it's quiet too cos it means that I might just have to talk to her - say no more.

Korins off out to see her mate who is also 18 ! - Hope they are careful, Korins going as a ladybug!
Skirt is VERY short ! She's staying over with Chloe too - hope they have a great time tho. Oh to be 18 again - I wish it were me going out to enjoy myself. NO such luck for us.

hysteri-cal sent me a whole grungeboard alphabet - it's lovely stuff - I said I'd like to try it but it was just too expensive and so she sent me this - plus other little key's and arrows etc. So thank you Cal, as I said it was just so lovely of you.

The metal square embossed is the bottom of a custard tub! AND will add the gold hearts made from top of a margarine tub (stork) and my embossing folder and cuttlebug die.

Cool eh.

God how I hate that woman I work with !

Finding that she is hiding stuff - I really think she is mentally ill. I don't have the energy to argue with her - she's on holiday - and I don't know where, and I don't care. I really hate her with a vengeance.................................that is ALL I am going to say. I wish she would retire and make me very happy. Keep trying to get a new job - but there just isn't a lot about. Would like to stay in the NHS now I'm 'in', but they're not really filling many posts. Fingers crossed I get something soon.

I am working all week this week cos she's on holiday - I don't mind working when she isn't there. We've had over a month away from each other and it's been absolute bliss............unfortunately she's back next Tuesday which means that we are working together 3 days a week again apart from holidays, although I do have next Thursday off as time in lieu and a half day for the last half day of my Annual Leave.

Jane Goody died today. What a bloody shame for those kids. I know she was a loudmouth etc, but she didn't deserve to die at 27 - and on Mothers day - her kids will always remember mothers day and her poor mother to have to say goodbye to your daughter on Mothers Day, doesn't bear thinking about.

And another Saturday arrives on our doorstep

Korin had her 'night out' last night - she was a bit drunk when we picked her up - she staggered to dads car and almost fell into the bushes of a house we'd parked by, it was quite funny to see her like that actually. Just hope she's not regularly going out drinking - the way the kids drink today........................it's a bit of a worry I suppose.

Anyway, house is a tip as 8 stayed over, pizza's at 2 am and food - crumbs trailed up the stairs and to be truthful I didn't do much last week cos I was on annual leave and I wanted to do more things for me rather than housework and more housework etc etc.

Lets face it - the house isn't dirty, just rather untidy............................so today, I am walking the dog and then doing some housework and washing.

I have to work Monday through to Friday next week - cos Mrs N is on holiday. So won't have much time next week to do anything.

Mothers day tomorrow and I have decided to finish my SCRAP YOUR DAY which finishes this month - but, of course, it won't be 25th - but I thought that maybe mothers day was a good day to finish the year on. I will be glad to see the back of SYD tho, haven't really enjoyed it at all but can't leave a project half done.

Which brings the 'House' album to mind and my eclectic book which I started ages ago - ah well.

SLYMI week 12 - On your Birthday (well it's your Birthday week)

I just realised

I missed St Patricks day this year (yesterday). The great parties we had here at the square with the square people. NOT the round people, definitely the square people. Gosh how those years have flown by.....................pity we don't have those great parties anymore. BUT hey ho (as viv would have said) nothing lasts forever.

Someone mentioned TWINCHIES on UKS yesterday

so me being me, had to have a go - and made this little book - of twinchies which are 2x2 inch square little LO's. I did my book of 'more than inches' previously - and was going to have a go at inches - which I think may be my next go at something - as they're so quick and you see results easily.

BLOODY RIP OF VET !

I was so annoyed with vets today - Gunner had his dressing taken off - 3 minutes job - nothing more, no more tablets, or cleaning the wound etc etc - £24 consultation fee - NO £24 RIP OFF MERCHANT FEE MORE LIKE - it isn't the money, it's the fact they did nothing for £24 - I don't care what anyone says, vet or no vet - for 3 minutes work in this recession - it's disgusting.

I was so annoyed that I've written to them. IF they don't refund my £24 I will take my business elsewhere - whether they're more expensive or not - I am just so annoyed with them.

Took Keir to Fasttrak and he's got his assessment motorcycle test on Tuesday next week Key's taking him as I have to work all week next week cos Mrs N is on holiday.

Hope Korin starts work next week so she can start to build up some money.

Key's just come home from London and feels that ill with razor blade type cough and sore throat etc, so gone straight to bed. Poor thing.

I have a treatment at 8 pm.

I am going to have a go at some twinchies - 2x2 inch little pieces of 'art' in a loose sense of the word and will make a twinchies book. Was thinking of joining a swap - but I hate it when I start to feel tied down to doing something and then pressurised into a definite date etc. So I shall just do my twinchies for myself. Will probably regret it though.

SLYMI week 11 - yep already

love this pic of me, but Key looks totally fed up ! Wish I'd kept those dresses to use in my LO's for these days - they were so vibrant.

My cold has come out and I feel very tired. BUT then, I have been shopping with Korin and did stuff for Keir, housework, and washing etc etc.

Monday - work, but I'm off Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and back in on Friday which isn't so bad really.

AND avoiding Mrs Nasty too - well things couldn't be better really could they. tee hee.

Korins presents wrapped - got to get up early so she can open her cards and presents and get to college on time too.

Saturday 14th March, 2009

Had to take Gunner to vets - his leg has swollen after he scuffed the bone - it's sceptic and he's been biting it. Has his leg in a type of plaster - and I've been calling him Gunner Red Leg (as the plaster is red) dead leg - he thinks it's lovely - LOVE MY DOG. Cost £60 for just a few minutes at the vets, blimey - I wanted to be a vet, wish I had pursued it.

Helped Keir get sorted out for taking his motorbike test - he's chuffed. He's had his offer of college place too - so things are going well for him. HOPE it continues on. He deserves it.

Korin. 18 on MOnday, I really don't know where those 18 years have gone to. I love her so much..............she's a good kid really. Took her out shopping for her Birthday. She's bought some nice clothes. She still has £50 left and I want to get her a couple of little pressies tomorrow and a Birthday Card as I DON'T think she will appreciate a handmade card like Keir does.

Well. It's Saturday night.....................I feel really tired. House is a tip. We hve reduced the price by £12,000 - but taken Stamp Duty Paid off - then we have something else to negotiate with.

I hope we can sell sometime soon. That'd be the icing on the cake now that we are both working and Keir (HOPEFULLY) settleed into college.

Oh and Korin got her KFC job too. Hope getter things are on their way.

Everyone had a lovely time

NEC brill - although I could have spent spent spent - didn't. I was quite chuffed with myself. We (me and monica) did what we set out to do and that was look before we bought, we made notes of the stalls we liked and went back to purchase. Didn't spend what I thought I would - but very happy with my purchases and such a nice relaxing friendly day too.
Surprisingly bought lots of fabricy type stuff, like paper-material, angel hair, material squares etc etc - lovely stuff - can't wait now to start playing but gotta walk the dog first and then see to kitchen and then tea. Ah well, I have had a nice day out.

We're off to see the Wizzard ..................

oh no I'm not - but equally something magical (well I hope so anyway) NEC craft show in half hour we'll be on our way. Really quite excited now so I really hope that as it's my first it's GREAT.

What a week

Mrs Nasty rings in on Tuesday to say she and her hubby have gastro enteritis (sp?) - I DIDN'T LAUGH - but it does serve her bloody right for being such a shit (sorry, I don't really mean that) but she is a vile woman. Anyway - boss decides to give me all this extra work and so it's been hectic to say the least!

PLUS - I have had 3 cancellations on reflexology this week so lost £60 towards my NEC trip tomorrow. I do have £75 to spend - I don't know IF I can bring myself to spend that kind of money these days in one day on scrapping stuff when we've had to watch every penny all year long? - Difficult one.

I have decided that NO MATTER WHAT I shall go around the show first - noseying at everything and any demo's etc etc - THEN I shall decide on the stuff I really want to buy so there will be no buyers remorse and will only buy the stuff I really want - that is my theory, in practice?? who knows eh. It's my first large craft show - I might be like a kid in the candy shop and unfortunately I shall be taking my debit card with me too ?

REMEMBERING that I had a £436 tax rebate (cos I'd been on emergency tax since starting at the hospital) and £980 tax refund a month ago cos I'd paid too much from my earnings at the shop last year..................................ah hem. Lets not go there, that money is for bills.

Right - I am off to bed to rest before my hectic day tomorrow.

bit early to post the Birthday LO for Korin but I probably won't have time next weekend, and having had 3 days off from the hospital I did manage to get a bit of scrapping done - photo's prepared etc.

Just got to sort Korin's Birthday now - get a cake, and a few little pressies, scrap a card similar to the one I did for Keir for his Birthday.

Saturday again already

how the time flashes by. House could do with a good clean, but I didn't ! - spent a bit of time looking through photo's for DD's 18th Birthday card (little book/album) which I hope to make? - Got to get a few items for her but she's having the money and already had £50 of it to go to Skegness a couple of weeks ago.

So this afternoon we went into Lichfield to upgrade DD's phone - then when I got back tried to cancel her current phone with '3' - but they talked me into another contract offering me nearly a £400 phone if I spent just £9 per month with 100 free calls?? - texts??? - Korin says it's not enough but I hardly use my phone these days and I can always upgrade it if I need to. I desperately needed a new phone.

As of this morning I have now lost 1 stone and 8lb's since about 3rd December but mainly since 22nd December when I started work. Have been being good on Cholesterol reducing diet - so I hope it's making a difference. Martin tho says that his doctors told him that you can only reduced your cholesterol with diet and exercise by 10% so I may still end up on STatins, but before that I'd try the herbal/natural ones.

Right, going to get some scrapping done for Korin's little book, I think, but at this moment in time I just feel like going downstairs and chillin for the night?

enjoying scrapping still at the moment, hope it continues. Getting through a lot really.

Dear Diary !!

Tee Hee.

Had a nice surprise last night that one of my customers who makes her own cards wanted me to cut some Cuttlebug Alphas for her for mums day etc, it was nice having someone round who creates too - she was 'in awe' of my stuff YET I have only an eighth of what other people have when I see their craft rooms 'online' so it made me kinda realise that I am very grateful for what I have and my own room and time that I can create.

Anyway, still doing OK with my new eating regime cos of my high cholesterol, just hope it makes a difference, whilst I can and when I can I walk the dog for, at least 35 - 40 minutes again, it's helping him and me, of course, and with the 20 minutes walk to and fro the hospital 4 days a week, it can only help, if, of course, I can keep it up when back at work from next week. PLUS I have got my trampette out again and been on there two days running - literally RUNNING - on the spot on for 10 minutes plus. So it's only got to help. I hope to go back in 6 months time at 5 cholesterol???? - When I am determined, I am determined.

Doing a book of me 8x8 and have done 3 pages (A, B & C) so far. I think I shall upload it here as and when I finish it which may be a while away yet. We'll see.

woo hoo Keir passed his Therory Test.

Really pleased for him, all these little things lead to a bit more confidence for him. Just hope he gets a college place next Monday and I think he'll be over the moon.

I got the bug again. Two lots of papers over the last couple of weeks and various bits and bobs - then those gromlets and today just spent over £10 again in bits and pieces (without P&p). I reckon I've spent in the region of £50 on scrapping again over the last 4 weeks or so - it has to stop. ESPECIALLY as I am going to the NEC with Monica next Friday and I shall need some money for there. I think I am going to take just £50 in cash (NO CARDS) and go round the show and then write down what I actually REALLY want to buy.



Can't really afford to go, but I promised to go with her.
